It would be extremely helpful if we could have a bag for our backpack that only holds books. We could really use the extra space, especially when on a long vanquish

My other suggestion is for the Rare Materials traders to allow us to buy and sell in large quantities, the same way the normal Material traders do. Takes forever to buy something like 75 jadeite shards.

And the Rare material trader only sells one of each mat, at one time, because if, lets say, i buy ectos @ 6 k(idk...), and i buy hmmm 10, then the price would rise, BUT, i would still benefit , since the price raised AFTER i bought my 10.

got a feeling this is right. but yea i doubt they would do it for books(tomes?

) amybe like mats or something. then again they may consider giving us derv updates for 6th birthday........

/notsigned for the books. That's why we have storage. Obviously more carry capacity is better, but I don't see the need for this.

/notsigned for the second suggestion. It's not going to happen. Items are bought one at a time so that the current price can be set. If you buy a ton at once, you get heaps at a low price, then there would be the opportunity to sell heaps at a high price. Besides, if you're buying rare mats in bulk you should buy from other people; it's cheaper.

I believe they mentioned it was not possible to do a book bag since the books are multiple thingys---would have to go and look for the posts. (like the incubator)....so doubtful it will happen.

Create a free book bag for every character so frees up more storage space or dont so people might buy extra storage panes because their storage is getting cluttered.

Of course most people dont buy storage panes purely because of the amount of books but the books do slightly contribute to the reason for buying extra storage panes.

id much rather see other stuff implemented before this anyway.

I swear this has been asked before and answered - specially by anet staff on guru.
Before anet was king enough to expand storage they stated extra storage eg for books/tomes wasnt viable due to needing extra space put aside on server.
You may think - but its sitting in storage anyway taking up space ?
Say you had 45 slots which contained 15 books - if you moved 15 books into a book slot the extra 15 space you would find something to fill it with.Dont say no you wouldnt - asking for book storage shows that you would by logic.
Everything takes up space in both storage and on their servers and unlike wow anet doesnt have a huge source of income that can be spent on making more storage space.
Rare mats is as someones stated already - the sudden rise in price or drop.
How miffed would you be if as an example you went to buy 100 ectos from npc in bulk for say 8k each and you find that after 10 ectos the price plummited down to 4.5k ?
You still purchased 100 for 800k and 90 of them was at high price not 4.5k ?
Rare mats i rarely sell to npc nor buy from them - cheaper to buy off players / guildies or farm them yourself.

I would suggest they allow a variation on the weapon packs we now get either let them store anything or have different storage packs.

Zaishen coins could be used for a number of different storage pack types and the player decides which best fits their character.

Weapons or Books, since you can only use one pack at a time and have to empty the pack before removing it you wouldn't be getting extra storage just a little flexibility.

I am pretty certain that if they added Book storage and allowed everything in the game to stack people would still want more.

I know I would.
I would buy more storage panes but buying another character is better value for money.

Would be nice to have tome/book storage...a library if u will. Alas I doubt it would ever happen. I reckon I could just buy an extra storage pane..but it's not worth the price imho.

surely you wount take up all the 20 slots...
